I cannot say how great this place is. From the beautiful surroundings to the amazing staff. Every person was full of enthusiasm and made every activity so much fun. The meals were fabulous. Blind trails, archery, abseiling, rock climbing, kayaking, night walks to name just a few made sure we got a good night's sleep.
A brilliant place, staff very friendly helpful and experts in their field. Wonderful countryside adventure playground
Brilliant trip here with our P 6/ 7 pupils
Good food & they were very accommodating to those who didn't like what was on offer! I would suggest extra bedding in the pods for the months Jan through to April,as it was extremely cold on our visit.
I tagged along to experience a week of legend at our school! What an amazing place. Great staff who kept our kids safe while allowing them to access activities they are likely to never get to do. Great food and comfortable accommodation in the pod village have left us all with great memories. Burnley Road Academy Chair of Governors
SOOO good! Amazing residential trip for schools and super kind staff. Food is yummy, there are different places to stay inside and the activities are amazing too. If you do go, I recommend doing the zip line as it is one of my favorite. Sadly, you can't go as a 1 day trip with family or friends, you have to stay at least 1 night ( i think ) and have to be with a school. Anyways, spectacular place to go and I 100% reccomend.
We have used Manor Adventure since 2014 and have always been impressed by the facilities and activities they offer and by the staff they have running their sites. We've visited Chateau du Broutel for a number of years - and loved it, but have recently switched the their Lockerbie Manor site purely to reduce the amount of time spent travelling (we're a Wigan school). We have been to Lockerbie twice now and always immediately rebook following our visit. A huge thing for us is the detail and effort that goes into safety and providing for everyone. You can see a lot of the wonderful things they do and offer from their website and prospectuses, but they're so much more than this. Their staff (front office, activity staff, cleaners and kitchen staff) are all knowledgeable, approachable and willing to go the extra step to ensure the children have the very best stay. We think Manor Adventure offer the best provision and the best program for staff and pupils out there.
I went with my year six class had lovely time food was not to good but the pods were nice and it was very adventurous!
Trying to shame my daughter on her school trip as she took her old expensive trainers that’s why we sent them!!! But to say they were fake in front of class mates and teachers is ridiculous if your staff are that confident they wouldn’t be on minimum wage calling kids if you want proof of the price of said trainer I have it on my phone from said designer now be careful as slander is a dangerous game I wouldn’t care but they where a Christmas present she begged for to be shamed since she got home. Now give your minimum wage child like head a wobble and talk to adults like that guarantee you would spend longer in dentist than Shane McGowan bully’s nothing else looking down on the only people you can bully
